From November 25 to December 8, residents of 179 countries cast a total of 374,803 votes.
A significant number of votes cast in the contest came from internauts from the United Kingdom, the United States and the Netherlands.
This year, first place was given to the Budapest Christmas market, which received more than 51,000 votes. In 3rd place was the fair in Krajowa, Romania, with almost 42 thousand votes.
Just behind the podium was Vienna, which was voted for by 40,717 people. Montbeliard from France ranked 5th with 32,011 votes, closing out the top five best Christmas markets in Europe....
